Healthmade Tallow was born from a deep appreciation for the many valuable parts of an animal and a desire to make the most of what nature provides.
Our story began with Elle, who spent 13 years as a vocal coach before deciding to make more room for the things she was truly passionate about — creating wholesome food from scratch, exploring holistic approaches to nutrition and health, and discovering more natural ways to care for the skin.
Her own experience with sensitive skin, along with having family members with their own skin sensitivities, led her to explore the world of animal-based skincare and traditional tallow.
What started as a personal exploration soon became something much bigger.
Today, Elle and her partner Sam, the nose behind our beautiful botanical scents, create thoughtfully crafted tallow products using carefully selected ingredients.
At the heart of Healthmade Tallow is our locally sourced tallow, working alongside farmers who care deeply about the quality of their animals and the land they work on. We believe that when an animal gives its life to nourish us, making thoughtful use of what it provides is something worth respecting.
